ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The First Peruvian Impact Investment Summit was an event that sought to put impact investment on the agenda as a mechanism to promote the mobilization of capital towards priority areas, demonstrating that the most pressing problems of our country can be solved, while at the same time financial returns are generated.

This event brought together an exclusive audience of 250 leaders from both the public and private sectors of the country, including representatives of banks, investment funds, corporations, NGOs, international cooperation and government. Among the participants were also prominent social companies, thus reflecting a diversity of perspectives and a shared interest in enhancing impact in Peru.

WHY PARTICIPATE

The Summit will include fireside chats, panels, keynote speeches and masterclasses with international and local experts where they can participate in technical discussions, as well as analyze successful models that can be scaled and replicated in the country.

Sebastián is the Chief Policy Officer at GSG Impact, a global network present in over 50 countries that works to progress the transformation of global financial systems, so that every investment, business and government spending decision takes into account impact, as well as risk and return. An Argentine economist with experience in economic development, impact investment, urbanism, and conflict resolution, Sebastián holds an MSc in Economic Development from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.

Carmen is the CEO at Pro Mujer, a leading social enterprise dedicated to promoting gender lens investing in Latin America, with over 33 years of experience working towards gender equality. With more than 30 years of experience in operational management, strategic planning, and the implementation of programs focused on sustainable development in Latin America, Carmen has served as a director in several organizations, including Fundación Avina and Endeavor Uruguay. She has also held various positions at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Organization of American States (OAS). Carmen holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from National Louis University.

With over 20 years of experience in international investment advisory, risk and asset management, as well as financial services and international development, Heiner holds an MBA with a focus on finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MPA in Macroeconomics and Financial Markets from Harvard Kennedy School.

With a diverse background, Daniel has held key roles in Customer Experience at NaranjaX, a prominent Argentine fintech. He has also served as Director of Public Affairs at TECHO, an NGO dedicated to seeking housing solutions in informal settlements. He holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA).
