CONNECTING SUSTAINABLE IMPACT INVESTMENTS
We promote the development of the impact investment ecosystem in Peru, providing strategic guidance and facilitating opportunities between actors. We facilitate collaboration and shared learning, with the aim of mobilizing financial capital towards programs, projects and companies that generate a net positive social and/or environmental impact.
We are the Peru National Partner of GSG impact.
GSG Impact
WHAT IS GSG IMPACT?
GSG Impact is an independent organization that was established in August 2015 as the successor to the Social Impact Investment Task Force established under the G8 Presidency in the UK.
GSG Impact, active in over 50 countries, works to progress the transformation of global financial systems, so that every investment, business and government spending decision takes into account impact, as well as risk and return.
The GSG Impact Partnership is a growing community of National Partners dedicated to advancing impact locally and globally. GSG Impact supports the development and work of the National Partners. We harness our collective voice to advocate for impact globally, and advance impact through innovation, knowledge sharing, convening and collaboration.

Our history
FORMATION OF THE PERU GSG NATIONAL PARTNER
2020
The Canadian government in Peru sponsored a consultancy with three main objectives:
- Mapping the ecosystem, conducted by Deetken Impact
- Create educational material on impact investing, made by SVX México
- Define the work plan for the creation of the GSG National Partner, carried out by SVX Canada
2022
In January, COFIDE received financial support from the Swiss Economic Cooperation – SECO to complete the application to the GSG Impact.
In June, NAB Peru is formally admitted as part of the GSG Impact network and Aliados de Impacto is born.
In October, the Anglo American Foundation is formalized as a founding partner of Aliados de Impacto.
Several organizations from the local Peruvian ecosystem meet at the so-called “Desayunos de Impacto.”
The first report is created: “Report on the status of impact investment in Peru: Opportunities and challenges 2020”, carried out by the Pacific University under the auspices of COFIDE, Andean Forests Program, Helvetas, Kunan, Aporta and NESsT.
2021
Technical assistance from the Government of Canada to COFIDE began, through the Technical Assistance and International Development Program, TAP EDM.

JOIN US IN DRIVING AN IMPACT ECONOMY IN PERU!
We are looking for strategic allies and partners who are interested in generating systemic changes to advance in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and recognize impact investment as a relevant mechanism. We wish to establish collaborations with organizations with which common objectives and shared values guarantee a fruitful and mutually beneficial collaboration.
We extend the invitation to all organizations in the ecosystem to join Aliados de Impacto to promote an impact economy in Peru, through two possible categories:

Your contribution is crucial to the success and financial sustainability of Aliados de Impacto, and will allow you to finance the operations and activities necessary to establish and maintain the organization in the long term and jointly build the impact ecosystem in Peru.
STRATEGIC ALLIES
It includes organizations whose presence generates relevant value to support and/or amplify specific activities of Aliados de Impacto, contributing with actions that favor the formation of an impact economy in Peru.
