WHAT IS OUR ROLE?
We promote the development of the impact investment ecosystem, providing strategic guidance and facilitating opportunities between actors, in order to create collaboration and shared learning, with the aim of mobilizing financial capital towards programs, projects and companies that generate net positive social and/or environmental impact.
OUR MISSION
We seek to catalyze the scaling of impact investment in Peru with the objective of facilitating the mobilization of public and private capital towards programs, projects and companies that contribute to solving social and/or environmental problems.
OUR VISION
Promote the transition towards an impact economy in Peru, demonstrating that the most pressing problems of our country can be solved, while generating financial returns and thereby achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Facilitate the mobilization of capital towards programs, projects and companies that generate net positive social and/or environmental impact and with financial return.
Articulate the impact investment ecosystem, to promote collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and resources between actors.
Develop knowledge, offering information and tools to improve the capabilities of ecosystem actors.
Promote the creation of a favorable regulatory framework that generates an enabling environment for impact investments in Peru.
LINES OF ACTION
KNOWLEDGE
We generate and transfer specialized knowledge and research to the Peruvian ecosystem on topics related to impact investments:
- We offer training on associated topics (e.g. measurement, innovative financial instruments, among others).
- We provide spaces for learning sessions with local peers for the exchange of information and networking.
- We offer project management services for specialized technical assistance related to impact investing.
MARKETS
We build mechanisms, tools and actions that generate impact investment opportunities for the different actors in the local and international ecosystem.
- We lead the design of blended finance instruments.
- We generate matchmaking spaces between companies and investors.
- We support investment readiness programs.
COMMUNITY
We connect investors, companies, development partners, and the public sector to create opportunities.
- We provide platforms to showcase their work in specialised webinars/workshops with other actors in the ecosystem.
- We connect with international organisations that have developed experiences for building local capacities.
- We facilitate thematic roundtables.
- Every year, we lead our annual event, the “Peruvian Impact Investment Summit,” as a gathering place for the country’s impact investment ecosystem.
ADVOCACY
- We lead dialogue spaces to contribute to the promotion of public policies that enable a thriving ecosystem.
- We leverage the knowledge of the GSG network to take concrete actions in favour of a supportive environment and the promotion of impact accounting.
- We encourage the involvement of the public sector in consolidating an Impact Economy.
